Echu

From the start to the end of the year
All over the old world travels
The cart of the grim REAPER
He’s evil this lanky lout
And his scythe is far too sharp
He sends his Great Black Dog
To sniff the people out
In the countryside, in the towns
Wherever a louse might hide
He rummages with his crooked stick
To root out a lad
Or a girl, or an animal
Or a young child, what torment!
When he passes through town
But today there’s a war
And the cart is simply too small
Loads of people are dying
And the horse is dead on its feet
He’s never idle
But the grim REAPER isn’t stupid
Onto his cart he had loaded
A black hole, the biggest one
iInto which a pile of people can be thrown.
The cart passed through PlounéourTrez
It began to climb up the hill
The one just outside the parish
Which is hellishly hard to get up
But for them all did not go well
As the huge hole became undetached
It slid off the back of the cart
And landed in the middle of the road
Listen good people if you would
It was the Reaper who screamed
And furiously whipped his horse
Leaving the poor thing in great pain
They had to pick up the hole
The horse began to back up
You couldn’t see through the dust
And it was really impossible to stop
The horse slipped on the sand
And the Reaper fell down in turn
The cart and the Great Black Dog
were swallowed up by the black hole
« So goodbye to you » Jopig told them
As he was working in a little field
Until we meet up again in America
I’m off to eat a nice peice of bacon.
